  2. Well, I’m glad I commented on your blog today because I was wrong… I hadn’t commented on the original!

So I’ve commented here, I already follow you on WP 🙂

  3. What am I doing to prepare for an emergency? I’m designing and building survival kits, from ones which can be carried every day through ones which require a vehicle to carry. If I can stay at home, I also have food and water storage.

  4. I clicked on the ‘follow’ button

  5. Comments made on the ‘bread experiment’ post

  6. I already follow you on wordpress. Great blog. Thanks

  7. I followed your blog and liked your facebook!
I store a lot of canned goods, water, and flashlights/lanterns in case of an emergency.. there is probably a lot more I should be doing! I need to get on that! 🙂
I always enjoy reading your blog 🙂

  8. I honestly think of you every time I look at the ONE can of vegan baked beans I have in my pantry! That’s the extent of my emergency preparedness! I mean, I have candles too…

  9. This week to prepare I am removing old foods out of my 72 hr car kit and replacing with fresh items. I do this every 6 months. My kids love it because they get to eat all the goodies from the old bags. I have things like granola bars, pudding, M&Ms, trail mix and other things. Don’t forget a sweet treat when you pack yours, comfort food is a must for emergencies. And some paper and pencils or crayons to keep the kids busy is always good.

  10. I have started buying a few items each time I go to the grocery store. Mostly dried beans, chicken broth, spaghetti, and spaghetti sauce. I am running out of room, though, and need to start rotating into my daily use.

  11. I already follow you.

  12. I’ve been following you for a few months and have enjoyed your practical perspective and advice.

  13. Following your blog, and liked both your page and your husband’s facebook page 🙂

  15. I liked both Facebook pages, I follow your blog already and I liked this post an am following your husbands blog.. I think I have our bug out bags pretty well stocked except I could really use some Meat and Fruit! I’m also needing to get a better water storage/Purification system. The only thing really stopping us are the funds so we’re doing what we can do which I suppose is better than nothing. Thank you for this opportunity!♥

  16. I am following your blog. I found you after you found my blog. Thank you. I have looked around and enjoy all your posts and will come back for more reading later when my little on is sleeping.

  17. We have water storage and food, including multiple boxes of MREs, for sustained outages or supply shortages during hurricanes. I love your post and giveaway opportunity! 🙂

  18. Liked your FB page. 😉

  19. Liked CG Soup’s FB page. 😉

  21. Commented on Food Storage: Free and Super Cheap. I must say, you have a creative way of creating traffic and sending people back to look at other posts for extra entries. I’ve never seen that before. Kudos to thinking outside the box. 🙂 May I also suggest (for future contests) that you offer entries for sharing your post via FB and Twitter. That will really bring in some new people, and it’s so simple to do that for most people that they do it just because it’s easy and it helps gets your name and site out there more.

  22. My my I hope this is still running…Hmmm what do I do to prep, recently I copy canned our favorite seasonings and sauces from our grocery. The copy cans are going to my backup pantry 🙂 This latest one consists of gen tso’s sauce, glee and some gluten free pasta 🙂

  23. I prepare for emergencies with food storage and water of course but I also make sure I have plenty of extras like flash lights and batteries and back up hygiene products especially the feminine type. My food storage consists of favorites but I love your blog because I am getting great ideas like that dried egg shannanigans you made those delicious brownies with.

  24. I liked and followed your blog several weeks ago…but missed this particular post! So here’s my comment towards two entries: one for following your blog and one for liking your FB page.

  27. I am loving this blog. It is very enjoyable to read.

  28. I Love your blog! Keep up the great work! We are saving cans here and there. Like you said, a little bit during each shopping trip goes a long way!

  29. Love your blog Laurie and I’ve been collecting, storing and rotating food, water for almost a year now. I’ve got my emergency bags made up, even for my dog (can’t forget your four-legged friends). I’m currently working on my homemade personal care items like deodrorant, shampoo, hair conditioner, toothpaste, mouthwash, burn salve, antibiotic healing salve etc. Learning practical skills if an emergency situation occurs; bartering one’s skills for services needed is a plus in my book.

  30. I already follow you 😀

  31. I haven’t even started preparing an emergency kit yet :(. No excuses! But I can try to blame how I have to share a tiny home with no storage space.

Winning this package would be a great way to start 😉

  32. Following you, and commented on your post about saving money on dry beans. 🙂

  33. Today Im entering your first giveaway, Im already following you, here and on facebook. Hope Im the winner, lol

  34. The cheese looks interesting…I continue to work on short term storage. We have “grab and go” 72-hour kits (which need updating) and a list of additional items, like camping equipment, that would be very convenient to have. We have a generator and gas, firewood, and water storage for 2-weeks, drinking only. We would be smelly, but hydrated.

  35. Hello!
I am excited to follow you.
    Following on FB.
    Following on Twitter.
    Following via WP.
I have a pantry full of canned goods, water, candles, waterproof matches and Twinkies! Lol
I hope you enjoy my WP blog as well. This was a good idea.
    Best regards,
    Señorita Tijerina

  36. To prepare I stock water.

  37. I am preparing by #1- 72 hour kid #2 – 1 month supply of food and water #3 – monthly purchasing of long term storage
